Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials across Portland metro area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records through digital scanning and signature capture systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and handle delivery inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities and customer service mindset
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Portland neighborhoods and traffic patterns preferred
