Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across Metro Detroit
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual/automatic vehicles
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Detroit metro area neighborhoods and traffic patterns
