Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and documents within Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking systems
- Verify recipient information and obtain proper signatures for deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and recipients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintain organized cargo space
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
