Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive deliveries across Louisville metropolitan area using company-provided vehicles
- Utilize GPS navigation to optimize routes and maintain strict delivery time windows
- Handle packages with care, ensuring proper documentation and chain-of-custody protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team during peak delivery periods
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management skills and punctuality commitment
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting
