Responsibilities
- Timely pickup and delivery of packages to commercial and residential locations across Chicago
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to minimize transit time
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and warehouse organization
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or courier experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
