Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and time-sensitive deliveries throughout Orleans Parish and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures/confirmations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan area geography
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
