Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, medical specimens, and time-sensitive materials using company-provided vehicles
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries within Sacramento County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, signatures, and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional demeanor
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier (1+ years preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery tracking
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of Sacramento streets and surrounding areas
