Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies on time
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using GPS tracking and mobile technology
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route troubleshooting
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and resolve delays
- Securely handle high-value or temperature-sensitive shipments
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisville streets and surrounding areas
