Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated Jacksonville locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers via mobile app
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology systems
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail and route optimization
