Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and documents within Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle fragile or high-value items with specialized care protocols
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Houston street systems and neighborhoods
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
