Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and documents across Oklahoma City metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and address route challenges
- Secure packages during transit and ensure proper handling of fragile items
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial driving preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual/automatic vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Oklahoma City streets and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Professional communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for real-time updates
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
