Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials across Charlotte metropolitan area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and delays
- Handle special handling requirements for fragile or temperature-sensitive shipments
- Represent SwiftDelivery Logistics with professionalism and courtesy at every stop
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to use company-provided delivery vehicle
- Proof of auto insurance meeting NC state minimums
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
