Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations across Columbus
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to strict delivery time windows and prioritize urgent shipments
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and avoid delays
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution hubs
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or CDL preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs/uneven surfaces
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metropolitan roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot locations
- Professional communication skills and punctuality
