Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and collect packages on designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficient with GPS navigation and smartphone technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Spanish language proficiency preferred for diverse Miami clientele
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
