Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations within Oklahoma City metro
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for each shipment
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delays or route changes
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent commercial vehicle training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Oklahoma City streets and navigation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company-provided van
