Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages within designated Columbus metropolitan routes
- Verify delivery details using scanning technology and obtain recipient signatures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any transit delays or issues
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1-year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Columbus city streets and surrounding areas
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
