Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and goods to designated locations within Milwaukee
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and digital logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Adapt routes dynamically to optimize delivery times and avoid traffic congestion
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and secure cargo appropriately
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team and recipients
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or commercial driving background preferred
- Ability to operate box trucks, vans, and standard vehicles safely
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee streets and surrounding areas
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery management apps and GPS tools
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
