Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof of delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup/dropoff interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and route apps
