Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated routes throughout the San Jose area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement of all materials.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion of deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Keep the vehicle clean and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or route delivery is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of local San Jose and Northern California geography.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and paperwork.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
