Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van to transport goods to various local destinations.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow assigned route maps and delivery schedules to ensure timely service.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and daily mileage reports.
- Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Charlotte, NC area and surrounding regions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging duties.
