Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on highways and local routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using straps and tarps.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Pass a DOT physical examination.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Strong knowledge of New York and surrounding interstate routes.
