Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring goods are secure and free of damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and stay within assigned hours of service (HOS).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Represent El Paso Prime Transport professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
