Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional routes throughout Dallas, TX, and the broader United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and trailer.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and a drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Flexibility to travel between Texas and Ohio as required.
