Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT) and ensure adherence to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Handle customer service duties during stops when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
