Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and safety.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and all necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any vehicle maintenance needs immediately.
- Drive in all weather conditions and road types with a focus on accident prevention.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT hours-of-service (HOS) rules and regulations.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Professional demeanor and excellent time management skills.
