Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo to ensure compliance.
- Document delivery receipts and maintain accurate logs (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and binders to ensure safety during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical (Med Card) on file.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
