Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, straps).
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/ELD) and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers while handling freight.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of OTR or local driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with ELD devices and DOT compliance regulations.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
