Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly for transport.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if not currently held. We offer sponsorship and training for qualified candidates.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 pounds.
