Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods safely and efficiently across regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify potential mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD), miles driven, and delivery times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of freight.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License required (out-of-state licenses are welcome).
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication.
