Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on highways and local roads.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on or before the promised time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and trailer.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or willingness to obtain via our training program).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for fuel and toll calculations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to travel and work varying schedules.
