Job Overview
We are looking for safe, skilled truck drivers to handle regional and local freight delivery throughout Kentucky and surrounding states. If you have a Class A CDL and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers on designated routes in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition and compliant with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring cargo security and proper placement.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery receipts, mileage logs, and delivery times using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are a plus but not required for all positions.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
