Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe, defensive, and professional manner.
- Deliver freight on or before the promised delivery time to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Complete electronic logging device (ELD) logs accurately and in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck cab at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) driving experience preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation and communication.
