Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with FMCSA and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment to ensure safety and security.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and inspection reports (DVIR).
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections.
- Willingness to travel regionally or OTR as required by business needs.
