Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with FMCSA and company regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, including handling freight with forklifts or manual techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict schedules and delivery timelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and the safety department.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and navigation.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends if necessary.
