Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
- Maintain a clean driving record and vehicle interior/exterior appearance.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 90 days.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering cargo within weight limits.
