Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport freight to designated locations safely and on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
