Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain strict adherence to time windows.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic logging device (ELD) entries accurately.
- Ensure cargo is secure and protected against weather and road hazards.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer proficiency for handling paperwork and ELDs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
