Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic logging (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment (forklift, straps, etc.).
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Hazmat and/or Tanker endorsements are a plus but not required immediately.
- Ability to lift and carry cargo weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
