Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of freight across the Midwest region. You will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive their goods on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and cargo securement.
