Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all safety protocols and weight restrictions are followed.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and daily delivery paperwork as required by DOT regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and customer satisfaction goals.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety standards, and cargo securement.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
