Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Transport freight safely and efficiently along designated routes in and around Fort Worth.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
