Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over various routes and terrains within Ohio and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Interact professionally with customers and dock personnel at delivery locations.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with no air brake restrictions.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
