Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations in the Denver metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring weight distribution and cargo security.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict accordance with DOT hours of service laws.
- Interact professionally with customers, dock personnel, and warehouse managers to resolve any delivery issues efficiently.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or ability to obtain one through our training program).
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam to ensure physical fitness for the job.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and customer service.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
