Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on designated routes within New York and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and comply with all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and operating standard truck controls.
- Must have a valid Social Security Number and be legally authorized to work in the USA.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and weekends as required.
