Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over designated routes in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major moving violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks is a plus.
