Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and prevent mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo, delivery logs, and hours of service (HOS) via ELD.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring weight distribution is within legal limits.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel to resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo up to 50 lbs occasionally.
