Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B vehicles for timely deliveries across Baltimore metro area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Build client relationships through professional on-site interactions
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route efficiency
- Uphall all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
