Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles within DC metropolitan area
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch team
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (mandatory)
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Knowledge of DC traffic laws and routes
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent time management skills
- Smartphone for communication apps
