Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight across the Southeast region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/Eld) and paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia traffic laws and interstate driving regulations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
