Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on highways and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for cargo weight calculations.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
